Cupping Therapy and Gua Sha

Relaxing and comfortable, cupping works like a reverse massage using decompression instead of compression.  Cupping creates a pressure gradient that increases blood and fluid flow which can relieve pain, as well as break up adhesions and scar tissue, aid myofascial release, as well as enhance underlying tissue movement and healing. .

It is used to enhance function and sports performance, as well as for treating pain, assisting in rehabilitation after injury or surgery, and enhancing movement of blood and lymph.

Gua Sha is a friction treatment used to relieve pain, enhance healing, and break up scar tissue, promote circulation of blood and lymph. It can also aid in relieving insomnia and some anxiety conditions.
