Designed for health improvement and health maintenance, our classes and events are about giving you options to be proactive about the quality of your life. 

All classes are of limited duration with the goal of giving you the knowledge and skills to continue at home or with a group. Classes alternate with each other and may be repeated or expanded upon later in the year.

Tai Chi as a moving meditation to promote health and anti-aging by increasing the flow of Qi, a vital life-giving force of the body. This class can serve as an introduction to Tai Chi, teaching adapted movements from Yang style Tai Chi done as repetitions for a more flowing, relaxing experience.

Must be able to stand safely. No experience neccessary.

Wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. Taught by Sandra Wilkes L.Ac.

Qi Gong are ancient meditative exercises that can be used to increase internal energy and improve health. One of the forms we will learn,  "Eight Pieces of Brocade" is a valued Qi Gong form that was a protected secret for generations. No prerequisite.

Relax and Reset to the resonant sound therapy of crystal singing bowls. Deeply meditative and restorative, perfect for a midweek retreat to refresh your mind-body-soul. 

Held in the Blue Room at Blue Valley Acupuncture 11810 Quivira Overland Park, KS 66210.

Padded Chairs provided.

Bring your own mats and bolsters if you would like to lie down.

Arrive up to 10 minutes early, class will start on time.  No refunds for missed classes or for being late to classes. 

The clinic is open to patients soon after class so we request participants leave within 15 minutes of class ending for the comfort and ease of our patients.

Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment. Refund is available with advance notification up to one week before class starts, or if class is cancelled. 

If individual class days are cancelled due to weather, or other cause, the class may be prorated (partial refund) or makeup day(s) scheduled at Blue Valley Acupuncture's discretion.

Masks are not required for classes at this time. We sanitize surfaces and provide hand sanitizer for your use. High volume HEPA air filters are running continuously in the classroom and acupuncture clinic.
